Loreto College Partnership

Vikings Water Polo are excited to partner with Loreto College Coorparoo through a newly formed memorandum of understanding (MOU). The exciting partnership will offer Loreto College Students the opportunity to continue playing water polo whilst in Year 12 and post schooling. The MOU is centered around opportunity, retention of athletes and continued post graduate university opportunities.

The MOU will allow Loreto College student the opportunity to continue competing post schooling with friends they have made during their time at the College. One of the biggest challenges with athletes continuing water polo post school is finding clubs in which their friends play for. The ability for Loreto College Students to continue playing water polo with families faces is what this relationship is centered around. Vikings Water Polo's key ain't is to retain athletes in the sport of water polo whilst decreasing post school drop out rates. 

ACU Brisbane has recently come on board with Vikings Water Polo to create a pathway for students who wish to continue their educational journey after they leave Loreto College Coorparoo. Vikings Water Polo's relationships with ACU Brisbane gives students the option to familiarize themselves with a local university, whilst gaining a stronger understanding of scholarship opportunities including the ACU Elite Athlete and Performer Program (EAPP).

Vikings Water Polo is extremely excited about the relationship with Loreto College Coorparoo and believe it to be the start of a long lasting partnership which will see Loreto College Students continue in the sport of Water Polo.
