Vikings Water Polo is currently seeking expressions of interest for coaches for our upcoming winter competition and 2024/25 Season. 

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about water polo and can effectively develop and inspire our athletes. As a coach, you play a crucial role in fostering a positive team and club environment. If you are enthusiastic about coaching and eager to contribute to the success of Vikings Water Polo, please fill out an expression of interest. 

These will be paid positions

Key Details

Competitions Include: Winter Season 2024, Summer Comp 2024/24, AYC 2025, State Titles 2025 as well as various training clinics/camps/program
Times: Will vary depending on competition and training schedule
Venue: Competition pools and training venues will vary
Trainings: scheduled in discussions with club and coach pending availability 

Winter Competition
Dates: Week commencing monday July 22 - until week commencing August 26
Time: 6:00pm onwards
Venue: Musgrave Park Pool & St Rita's Pools (pending nominations)

Summer Competition 2024/25
Dates: Competition will commence beginning September 2024 until March 2025
Venue: Various Brisbane Venues

AYC 2025
Dates: 14-18 April 2025: 18&U and 14&U age groups & 20-24 April 2025: 16&U and 12&U age groups
Location: Perth, Western Australia

WPQ State Titles 2025
Dates: 5-13 April (exact age group dates TBC)
Location: Gold Coast, Queensland
